Ceremony Arrangements
We are devoted to creating a one-of-a-kind event that brings your vision to life. Our custom ceremonies, which can include sailing or motor yachts, live music, funeral speakers, or priests, are tailored to your preferences. Our team handles all pre- and post-event preparations and offers full support in English, German, and Spanish, ensuring the best possible service during this emotional time. Our standard package includes all the essential services while our premium package includes personalized touches and enhancements for a unique farewell.

Description of Services
Packages & Additional Services
Boat type depends on guest count and availability. All boat types are available and client preferences can be indicated. Prices vary based on low season (November-March), mid-season (April-May & October), and high season (June-September). Boat trip lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours.
Skipper and crew provided based on boat size and group size. At least one captain is provided for boats with up to 10 people. All legal and insurance procedures are organized by the Nemocean team. Port taxes included in the package price.
Biodegradable urns are adorned with beautiful flower blossoms, and offer a serene and eco-friendly way to bid farewell to your loved one. These urns gracefully float in the water before slowly sinking to the bottom of the sea, ensuring a peaceful and respectful final resting place. Premium package includes premium quality urn.
To honour your loved one’s memory, we include flower petals that you can scatter into the water alongside the urn. It’s a meaningful way to commemorate their life and say goodbye in a way that’s gentle on the environment.
The boat is decorated with garlands of flowers on each side and a floral centrepiece adorns the table. The Premium package offers even more abundant floral arrangements.
Welcome drink (sparkling wine) provided per person, with water available throughout the trip. Premium package includes additional soft drinks, beer and a welcome drink (champagne).
A member of the Nemocean team will act as your personal guide and will offer a few words during the scattering of ashes into the sea.
A Certificate of Coordinates will be provided that includes the name of your loved one and the exact location and date where the ashes were scattered at sea.
Music played through onboard speakers, with client choice of playlist or custom playlist creation available.
A professional photographer is included in the premium package to capture special moments throughout the ceremony for you to cherish.
Our videography team will create a beautiful video of the ceremony to honour your loved one’s life and create a lasting memory for your family.
Add personal touches to your Standard or Premium package by choosing from our additional services, including catering and drinks, extra flowers, live music or a DJ, a photographer, hand parasols for sun protection, a priest for the ceremony, transfers to and from the boat, transport of the urn, accommodation booking, and aquatic toys for a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean Sea.
Our support to transport the ashes to the Balearic Islands
Organizing Documentation
In addition to the standard documentation, a multilingual international mortuary passport will be necessary. Your funeral director can request this document from the public health office. Ask us how we can help support you through this process.
Transport to Mallorca & Other Balearic Islands
The transport of the urn can only take place after the cremation is completed at a crematorium. You will need a death certificate. The consent of a relative is mandatory (in select countries) before the urn can be released to you. You have the option to carry the urn with you on the flight or alternatively, we can also organise the transfer of the urn to Mallorca via a selected logistics company.
Certified Biodegradable Urn
After we receive the urn, we will transfer the ashes to a biodegradable urn crafted from 100% natural materials. This step is crucial because we are dedicated to safeguarding the environment. These urns decompose when exposed to moisture, seamlessly integrating into the ecosystem.
Customizing the Ceremony
We provide complete customization options for the ceremony, including a variety of boats to accommodate any burial at sea ceremony, based on the number of attendees. The services may include a brief speech by our guide or crew member, or if desired, by a priest or family member. There will be an opportunity to bid farewell before the final release.
Returning To Port
As you return to the marina, you can relish the breathtaking Mediterranean Sea with its briny breeze, providing you with a feeling of serenity and tranquility, knowing that you have fulfilled your loved one’s desires.
